In 2017, the deadliest mass shooting on U.S. soil occurred at a concert in Las Vegas. In my capacity as a first responder at the incident I witnessed the challenges faced managing such a devastating incident.

With teams lacking easy, reliable access to the same sources of information, work was duplicated, communications were overwhelmed by radio traffic, and crews struggled to reach their assigned locations. We could not operate at maximum efficiency.

In mass casualty and critical events, every second counts. First responders cannot afford to worry about gaps in process, or technologies that only go so far before they stop working. Public Safety technologies must work together, reliably.

Our people need to be able to ingest accurate information quickly, orient to it, and act confidently and quickly based on that intelligence.

 In this session, we will review the events of the day through the lens of 3AM’s powerful technology integration command platform and explore a new way to manage incident response.
