PHOENIX, AZ - 3AM Innovations, a technology solution provider for incident management and mission-critical resource tracking and communications, has been selected to provide a standardized, secure incident command and management platform to fire and law enforcement agencies in the state of Arizona. With this selection, fire departments and agencies can apply available state grant funds to the procurement of 3AM’s FLORIAN platform.
The statewide grant, known as the Fire Incident Management System Grant, has made $18.3 million in funding available to Arizona’s municipal fire departments and fire districts to acquire a collaboration and communication solution. The goal for the grant is to ensure Arizona departments have access to optimal location tracking, resource tracking, secure messaging and information sharing, and telemetry-based firefighter safety monitoring capabilities, and can continue to operate in the absence of internet connectivity.

Revolutionizing Decision Support
3AM’s FLORIAN is a revolutionary decision support system that leverages real-time, incident-specific information to better inform the response effort. With it, firefighters and incident commanders can reliably operate and communicate during critical, time-compressed moments across all phases of incident response, mitigation and after-action review and reporting.
Users of the software receive turn-by-turn directions, hydrant locations, response ETAs, and 3D maps of the incident location prior to arrival, maximizing incident preparedness and efficiency. Once on scene, FLORIAN provides decision support and accountability through real-time location and tracking of individual firefighters, geofenced alerting, speech recognition and even automatic mayday calls.
